The Colorado Floor Company
The Colorado Floor Company is a family owned and operated new home construction business. They are continuously expanding their reach as a company, since they started with just flooring services they are now also working with countertops, cabinets, showers, and more. With the ever-growing business, their technology needs to grow as well.
The Problem
The company's website needed to help more than one specific role, since it was just for the designers before. Plus, there were constant design updates and changes to be made based on user feedback, and my team leader wanted documentation for future developers of the site to understand the "back-end" in Bubble.io.
My Solution
Originally called the "Design Suite", I rebranded the site as the "CFC Suite" since it was no longer being only used for the designers, giving the site a more inclusive title. The CFC Suite now has two sections - the Design Suite and the Bid Suite. I built the Bid Suite for the work order builders, to help their day to day workflows of building bids and work orders.
I scheduled meetings with the designers and work order builders, bringing their concerns to light and their ideas to life for the site.
I also worked through the entire back-end code in Bubble.io to create documentation for future developers to be able to understanding the functionalities and flow of the site.
The Outcome
The Colorado Floor Company now has multiple branches of employees using CFC Suite to make their workflows easier and help their customer service. The site has worked with over $5 million in revenue so far.
The site is not just something I worked closely with on my own, but is user friendly for the designers, work order builders, and customers.
